FC Schömberg Luchse crest, player and matchday graphics, and a club scarf

A visual identity for a football club in the Black Forest, applied to its crest, kits, merchandise, and matchday graphics.

This was voluntary work for the club. I designed the identity around the team's lynx namesake and its light blue and black colours. The crest developed through several rounds of sketches and refinements before becoming the mark used on club clothing and official documents.

Building the club identity

The crest was the starting point, but the project also needed a visual language for the things a club puts out every week. The same colours and lynx appear across player announcements, matchday posts, scarves, and jerseys.

An early colour sketch of the lynx crest

The early sketch established the lynx's face and ears. I refined it into the shield-shaped crest and paired it with wordmarks for different applications.
